Galaxy Display not original!

With Samsung recently releasing the Samsung Galaxy S8 with it’s new and impressive “Infinity” Display, I decided to take a stroll through the online market to see what competes with this amazing flagship.  Quickly through some minor research, I discovered an off-market phone made by Xiaomi.  The Xiaomi Mix is quite a comparison to the Galaxy S8 in many ways, including it’s marvelous full-size screen.

Xiaomi Mix Specs:

Battery Size: 4400mAh (typ) / 4300mAh (min) high capacity battery (Non-Removable)

Screen Size: 6.4″ immersive full display design

Display Quality: Full HD 2040 x 1080p

RAM: 6GB LPDDR4 RAM

Storage: 256GB UFS2.0 ROM

Processor: Snapdragon 821 max 2.35GHz

Material made from: Deep black ceramic body

Samsung S8 Specs:

Battery Size: 3000mAh, Non-Removable

Screen Size: 5.8″ 146.5mm, full rectangle

Display Quality: 2960 x 1440 (Quad HD+)

RAM: 4GB RAM

Storage: 64GB ROM

Processor: MSM 8998 Octa-Core 2.35Ghz (Quad-Core) + 1.9GHz (Quad)

This phone is mainly currently for sale from China and hasn’t expanded over into the U.S. Market yet, however, you can still order from China and use this phone on American carriers.  The part that gets me about this phone is that it’s remarkable design of display came out in late 2016, way before the Samsung S8 flagship had been released, making me speculate that Samsung took the idea of a full-screen display from this amazing company that has quite the attention in the Chinese market, enough for a version 2 to be coming out later this year.
